Where to Stay

There are many amazing places to stay while in Seattle. If you wish to be within walking distance (hardly a 3 minute walk!), below are the two main options. Feel free to explore other avenues if you wish, as there are no hotel blocks for this event.

Ballard Inn

5300 Ballard Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107

A cute stay, with private rooms and a clean shared bathroom. The bride’s mother has stayed here on multiple occasions and has always enjoyed the accommodations.

Hotel Ballard

5216 Ballard Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107

A three-star dream of a stay. More expensive than the Ballard Inn (which is right next door) but has all the amenities you could want for a relaxing get-a-way.

Transit

There are no hired cars for this event. You may want to rent a car to explore more of the city.

The Link can ferry you from the airport to the city, but sadly not to Ballard.

If you do not wish to rent a car. The bride’s mother has volunteered to pick up individuals from the airport given advanced notice. Contact the bride if you are interested.

Forest and Mak’s Food & Cocktail Recs

You may be here for more than one day! If so, the happy couple would love to share some of their favorite spots with you. If you try one of them out, be sure to tell them!

Rupee Bar: Indian & Sri Lankan food with THE best cocktails in the city.

Thaiku: Best Thai food in Seattle! Be sure to order the red curry and oolong-tini.

Cafe Munir: Lebanese food; the couple recommends ordering the lamb hummus!

Barnacle: Attached to a Seattle gem, this cocktail bar features amari in clever ways.

Korochka Tavern: The bride and groom recommend the borscht and Lenin drop martini.

Pacific Inn Pub: Looking for fish & chips? This dive serves up the most incredible fish.

Dumpling Tzar: Want a warm hug in your tummy? Get some dumplings!
